The Senate must make this bill a priority: the Paycheck Fairness Act would deter wage discrimination by closing loopholes in the Equal Pay Act and by barring retaliation against workers who disclose their wages to co-workers. Women in Maine are making just 79 cents to a man’s dollar. Throughout the U.S., that figure is just 77 cents!
